Month-by-month trends will appear here once there are 3 full months of data to compare. The charts above cover the whole period.

How Much Time Do You Get?

The response window is the gap between a tender being published and its deadline: how long you actually have to prepare a bid.

7 days

Half of all Kenyan tenders give suppliers 7 days or less to respond. Based on 1,808 tenders since 01 Sep 2026.

Measured from the 1,808 of 1,808 tenders (100%) that publish both a start and a closing date. Tenders missing either date are excluded rather than estimated.

How much notice each method gives

The dark mark is the usual number of days between a tender being posted and its deadline; the pale bar is where most tenders fall. This is where quotations separate from open tenders.

How to read it: Request for Quotation tenders usually give 6 days of notice, and most give 4 to 7 days.
